A 6L laboratory freeze dryer that pre-freezes samples in its own cold trap, so you do not need a separate low-temperature freezer. The cold trap reaches -60 °C or lower (-80 °C optional) and the vacuum pump pulls the chamber to 5 Pa, so moisture leaves your sample by sublimation and its structure stays intact. Four chamber types, an aviation-acrylic drying chamber and a 2-year warranty.
Freeze, then turn ice straight to vapour
Vacuum freeze-drying freezes the sample first, then lowers the pressure below the triple point of water. Gently warmed, the ice sublimates without ever melting, and the vapour freezes out on the cold trap. The dried sample keeps its biological, chemical and physical properties and returns to its original state when water is added.

What is the difference between S, P, T and PT?
S has stainless steel trays for bulk materials. P adds an 8-port manifold for flasks. T has three adjustable trays and a top-press device that stoppers vials under vacuum. PT combines the stoppering chamber with the manifold.
Do I need a -80 °C freezer as well?
No. The pre-freezing function lets you freeze samples in the cold trap opening of the machine itself.
How much can I dry in one run?
Up to 2.4L of liquid on the S and P models, or 1.6L on T and PT. T and PT hold up to 147 Φ22, 297 Φ16 or 492 Φ12 vials.
Can I get a colder cold trap?
Yes. The standard cold trap reaches -60 °C or lower with no load; -80 °C is optional.
