Tumble, drop, weigh

Weigh the tablets, load them into the drum and start. A curved baffle running from the centre to the outer wall lifts and drops them on every turn. When the count is reached the drum stops; dedust, reweigh and calculate the percentage weight loss.

Weigh the tablets before the test, run the drum, remove loose dust and weigh again. Friability is the weight lost as a percentage of the starting weight.

What do the drum dimensions do?

Can I change the number of rotations?
