A fume hood built for strong acids and alkalis. The body is porcelain-white PP, the worktop is phenolic resin, and the 5 mm toughened glass window resists acid and alkali too. A PP centrifugal blower with 9 speeds sends fumes out through a Φ250 mm duct. Four widths, 3-year warranty.

Fumes go up and out, never toward you

The blower draws room air in across the whole opening and up behind the rear baffle. Fumes are carried into the duct and outside the building, and the work area stays at negative pressure, so vapour cannot spill back into the room.

Negative pressure keeps vapour inside the hood.
Blower speed adjusts in 9 levels to suit the work.
Lower the sash to raise the face velocity at the opening.
The phenolic resin worktop resists the chemicals it handles.

Do I need a duct?

Yes. This is a ducted hood: fumes leave the building through a PVC exhaust duct, Φ250 mm. If you cannot run a duct, look at the LORDERAN ductless fume hood.

Which series should I choose for strong acids?

The P Series. Its PP body, phenolic resin worktop and acid-resistant glass are rated for strong acids and alkalis. The A, E, X and ductless hoods are rated for weak acids and alkalis.

How hard is installation?

Assemble the base cabinet, fix the main body on top, then connect the exhaust duct.

Which voltage should I order?

Every model is offered in 110 V and 220 V versions.

What does the warranty cover?

A 3-year warranty. Major defects under warranty are covered by a full refund or replacement.
